(MENAFN - Arab News) The Riyadh police have found a girl missing since Dec. 12 in good health in another part of the province.
Sixteen-year-old Ruwan Al-Shahri disappeared after school in the south Riyadh district of Arayja on Thursday.
"The girl who disappeared on Thursday after her classes was found in another place in good health," spokesman of the Riyadh police Brig. Nassir Al-Qahtani said. He did not provide any details about how and where she was found, or the circumstances that led to her mysterious disappearance.
Shortly after her disappearance, the relatives asked the public to help them, with a cash reward of SR200,000 for information leading to her return.
Meanwhile, the Riyadh police are still searching for a 12-year-old girl who disappeared a week ago in Nadeem District in Riyadh in unknown circumstances. Reem, an intermediate student, left her family house last Wednesday heading to an unknown destination without prior notice.
Reem's father described her as "well-behaved and disciplined." "This is the sixth day that she's been missing," he said in a local media report Tuesday. The father thanked Riyadh Gov. Prince Khaled bin Bandar for following-up on the case.
