Kuwait -Thief steals KD 18 returns KD3 for fare


(MENAFN- Arab Times) An Egyptian has filed a complaint against an unknown person, clad in 'disdasha' (national dress), who forcefully took KD18 from him while he was walking in South Surra and then returned KD3 so he can take a taxi to return home, reports Al- Seyassah daily. The complainant told the officers assigned in South Surra Police Station that the suspect approached him and asked him to hand over his wallet while pointing a knife at him. When he gave the wallet, the suspect took all the cash he found - a total of KD18 but later decided to return KD3 for his taxi fare. The Egyptian provided the officers with a detailed description of the suspect and investigations are underway to arrest the latter. Meanwhile, an Asian man lodged a complaint at Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Police Station against three persons he accused of stealing KD2 and a mobile phone from him. The Asian disclosed he was walking in the area when the suspects suddenly attacked him. They grabbed his phone and KD2 cash; then they fled from the scene. Investigations are being conducted to arrest the thieves.
