(MENAFN - Arab News) Qari Syed Sadaqat Ali, famous for his unique reading style of the Holy Qur'an, enthralled his community members with his recitation of the holy book in Riyadh recently.
The event was organized by the Pakistan Embassy and attended by Ambassador Muhammad Naeem Khan and his wife, Anila Naeem Khan.
Sadaqat Ali was a student and disciple of the world renowned Egyptian Qur'an reciter, Sheikh Abdul Basit.
He has won numerous awards for his outstanding performance in the field of Qur'an recitation, including the coveted Pride of Performance awarded to him by the President of Pakistan.
Speaking at the event, the envoy said, "We have invited many top personalities in the past and will continue to do so. We appreciate all those country's men and women who have distinguished themselves in the fields of art and literature and can showcase Pakistan's rich cultural heritage."
Qari Sadaqat has been associated with Radio Pakistan and Pakistan Television (PTV) where he has been conducting a program on Qur'an teaching for several years.
He has traveled widely across the world and performed many Qur'an recitations receiving several prizes.
