Abu Dhabi allocates USD27m for agricultural development


(MENAFN) The emirate of Abu Dhabi has allocated USD27 million to support local farmers and develop more sustainable farming methods in the next five years, Arabian Business reported. The fund will invest around USD5.4 million a year for the next five years. Managing director of the Abu Dhabi Farmers' Services Centre (ADFSC) said the fund will be �to support and finance the use of modern farming techniques, including hydroponics in greenhouses."
