Egypt to repay USD300 m to oil companies


(MENAFN) Egypt has announced its plan of repaying USD300 million from its debt to foreign oil companies in Egyptian pounds, according to the Peninsula. The USD300 million will be part of a USD1.5 billion repayment scheme the country designed to support its economy. Egypt's Finance Ministry said that the country also plans to repay USD3 billion of the USD6.3 billion it owes to foreign oil companies by 2017.
