Qatar - National Day/ Minister of Youth and Sports: National Day Is an Occasion to Renew loyalty to Homeland


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) HE the Minister of Youth and Sports Salah bin Ghanem Al-Ali underlined that celebrating the National Day is an occasion to renew loyalty to the homeland, and reflect the pride of belonging to Qatar, the society, and the heritage of ancestors. In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA) on the occasion of Qatar National Day, HE the Minister of Youth and Sports said that while celebrating the National Day, the Qatari people inspired by the ancestors the values of solidarity and cooperation, compassion and communication, and hard work. The Qatari people connect the past to present and future and remember the history and the march of the nation, led by the founder Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammad bin Thani and his companions, their patience, sacrifices, tournaments, and unity. HE the Minister of Youth and Sports added that the Qatari people also observe on the National Day the achievements they accomplished under the wise leadership of HH the Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. The Qatari people also look forwards to a bright future with hope, optimism and belief in the leadership of HH the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani towards the achievement of the goals of Qatar National Vision 2013 to improve the society, and secure the future of next generation, HE the Minister said. Concluding, HE the Minister of Youth and Sports underlined that celebrating the National Day is a celebration of pride of our country and its history, and the identity of our society with all the values and good ethics inherited from the fathers and grandfathers, which represent the essence of the culture of our society that should be preserved for the future generations.
