(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Qatar Audit Bureau organized a meeting on the method of reporting to supreme audit institutions.
The meeting was held in cooperation with the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI) from 8 to 12 December
A press statement released by the Bureau today said that the meeting was attended by 35 employees of financial supervisory bodies and audit institutions from 14 Arab countries, adding that the event was part of ARABOSAI training plan for 2013
It tackled various subjects put forward by Qatar Audit Bureau experts and an expert from Yemen Central Organization for Control and Audit, it said
The statement added that the meeting discussed a number of topics related to the preparation of supervisory reporting, in addition to tackling the general framework of the International Standards of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI standards) with a focus on standards of drafting report and instructions for the preparation of supervisory reporting
The last day of the event discussed the recommendations of the meeting in the presence of Acting President of Qatar Audit Bureau Ibrahim bin Hashim Al Sada and certificates was presented to the participants.
