(MENAFN - Arab News) The Saudi Ministry of Commerce and Industry has applauded the participation of Saudi nationals in the international exhibition for building and construction (Big 5) in Dubai.
Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, minister of commerce and industry, appreciated the participation of Saudi students and the supportive role of the Saudi Embassy in the UAE.
More than 2,500 companies from 65 countries took part in the Big 5 building and construction show.
It was an effective platform to build relationships and was considered a must-attend event for stakeholders in regional building, construction, refrigeration and air conditioning markets.
Al-Rabiah said Saudi businessmen and industrialists and the students brought honor to the Kingdom by their participation.
He expressed his pride and gratitude at seeing the Saudi students in the forum.
"I am glad to see such a high number of Saudi students participate in this important forum," he said.
"The credit goes to the UAE for motivating the students, boosting their morale and confidence, and embodying them with academic and social excellence," said the minister.
Saleh Hamad Al-Suhaibani, cultural attach in the UAE, said Saudi students are very intelligent and come up with excellent ideas which help them in their education.
He said Saudi students work very hard to accomplish their targets and improve their performance using modern communication channels.
Al-Rabiah's praise for the pupils' distinct performance highlights the excellent efforts of Saudi Ministry of Higher Education to encourage Saudi students abroad.
"The students will get ample opportunities to perform their duty to serve the nation. They will also learn the practical applications of their courses which will deepen their abilities," he said.
The attach is keen to help and support the Saudi students living in the UAE.
