(MENAFN - Arab Times) A Bedoun youth kidnapped his sister from her flat in Saad Al-Abdullah area after hitting and stabbing her several times. He also took the mobile phone of her housemaid and threatened to murder her if she reported the incident to the security authorities.

According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about a noisy quarrel inside a flat in Saad Al-Abdullah area, securitymen rushed to the location to investigate. They knocked on the door of the flat and the housemaid opened it.

She explained to securitymen that her sponsor's brother entered the flat through the kitchen window and when she saw him, she started shouting for help. He immediately pushed her, took her mobile phone and threatened to murder her if she told anyone about the incident. He then went to his sister's room where he hit and stabbed her few times, and then pulled her out of the flat. Securitymen took down the description of the suspect and intensive investigations are ongoing to find and arrest him.

Meanwhile, an unknown individual stabbed a Kuwaiti woman in her shoulder during a quarrel in Shaab area. Sources revealed that when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information from the management of Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital that a Kuwaiti woman who was stabbed in the shoulder has been admitted, securitymen rushed to the location. When they questioned her, she revealed that a quarrel broke out between her and a stranger in Shaab area during which the latter pulled out a knife and stabbed her in the shoulder before he fled. She added that she did not have any details about him. Investigations are ongoing to find and arrest the unknown suspect.
