Botswana inflation eases to 4.1 percent


(MENAFN) Statistics Botswana (SB) said that the country's national annual inflation fell further last month, Xinhua reported. The SB said that the inflation in the country fell to 4.1 percent after registering 4.8 percent in the month before. The country"s central bank said in a statement: "Weak domestic demand and the forecast benign external price developments contribute to the positive inflation outlook in the medium term, with the likelihood of a further fall in inflation in the short term."
