(MENAFN) Qatar has become the the world"s largest helium exporter as with the inauguration of the Helium 2 plant, The Peninsula reported.
The plant incorporates the largest refining facility and is the world"s second largest helium producer after the US.
The Qatari Minister of Energy said that this achievement is "a testament to how Qatar"s national resources from the North Field can be best optimised."
