(MENAFN - Arab News) More than 200 students participated in an awareness campaign to support two young female candidates running in the upcoming Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) elections.
The campaign, held under the slogan "Youth of Effat University for JCCI Youth," was held to show support to Sarah Al-Ayed, co-founder and managing director of Trans-Arabian Creative Communications (TRACCS), and Rania Salama, founder and CEO of Arabiyat International, an IT and Web development services company, both of whom are contesting the elections.

The campaign aimed to raise awareness among university students and the business community on the role played by the JCCI in the development of various business sectors in Jeddah and the local economy.
Sara Al-Harthy, president of the student council and the main organizer of the campaign, said they launched the awareness campaign to promote information on JCCI election and to support Al-Ayed and Salama.
