Zimbabwean diamonds back to EU markets

(MENAFN) Diamonds from Zimbabwe are set to be auctioned at the Antwerp World Diamond Center (AWDC) in Belgium, three month after the European Union (EU) lifted sanctions on the Zimbabwe Mining Development Corporation, Xinhua reported. The AWDC reported that nearly 300,000 carats of Zimbabwean diamonds will be traded up to mid-December. Antwerp said: "Following the lifting of the EU sanctions against ZMDC in September of this year, Marange diamonds can now be traded in Antwerp."
