(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) The Public Authority for Investment Promotion and Export Development (Paiped) partnered with the sixth Middle East Family Office and Investment Conference to explore opportunities for wealth preservation amongst family businesses in the region.
Held in Abu Dhabi, the conference saw regional and international family business leaders address investment concerns and analyse the many challenges impacting family-run businesses across the Middle East.
Under the theme Embracing Opportunities whilst Managing Risks and Liquidity,' the conference included a series of interactive panel discussions and group work scenarios on family office and investment experience and succession strategies, a press release said.
Participating in a panel discussion on Leading Families' Perspective - Futurisation In the Me,' Paiped's director general for investment promotion, Faris al Farsi, highlighted the importance of innovation, entrepreneurship and the attraction and retention of talent to the region's family-run businesses.
Based in part on the QFC/Campden Middle East Wealth Study' the annual Middle East Family Office and Investment Conference is designed to meet the growing needs of family businesses in the region by focusing on innovation, free enterprise and next generation challenges and solutions, the release added.<
