(MENAFN Press) Leading international business and consultancy company The Business Year (TBY) and Bell Pottinger a full-service international communications company, have partnered to maximize the reach and visibility of TBY's operations throughout the Middle East. The MoU, which highlights cooperation across a variety of media channels, was signed by TBY Regional Director Betul Cakaloglu and the Dubai-based Managing Director of Bell Pottinger's Middle East operations, Tristan Peniston-Bird, on 3 December 2013.

TBY produces annual trade and investment resources throughout the world. Its Middle East operations include a number of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain. TBY's annual editions serve as the most comprehensive English-language publications on the economies they cover.

Bell Pottinger has operated in the Middle East for more than two decades, with offices across the region, advising top regional and international companies, financial institutions, governments, and not-for-profit organizations. The partnership reflects both TBY's and Bell Pottinger's growth ambitions in this fast-rising region.

GCC countries registered an average growth of 5.8% in 2012, according to the Institute of International Finance (IIF), and can expect to see robust economic growth over the medium term. Successful diversification of its local economies, combined with a young population and an expanding middle class, is fueling FDI and sparking increasing need for reliable information on national investment climates. TBY meets this demand through comprehensive publications with an emphasis on first-person insights from business and political leaders. Each of TBY's annual, country-specific publications features approximately 200 interviews.

Commenting on the partnership, Tristan Peniston-Bird said:

"We are delighted to be partnering with The Business Year to increase the visibility of their operations across the Middle East. TBY profiles some of the region's top business and industry leaders, and I am confident that by working together, TBY will generate the widespread visibility and influence it deserves. We are greatly looking forward to collaborating with this leading publication, especially at a time of significant growth in the region."

"As TBY and Bell Pottinger are both witnessing, demand for high-level business intelligence on the Middle East is at an all-time high among the global investor community," noted TBY's Betul Cakaloglu. "Cooperation between these two leading firms is an important step in ensuring the broadest reach and visibility for the companies and countries we cover throughout the region."
