(MENAFN) Holders of Emirati, Omani and Qataris passports will be able to visit the UK for six month using an electronic visa waiver (EVW) staring next year, Arabian Business reported.
The UK's Border Agency said that the EVW offers a free, fast and simple alternative to a visit visa. This will significantly lower the time needed for nationals to obtain a UK visa.
"The Electronic Visa Waiver scheme is another example of how UK Visas and Immigration is innovating in order to serve the needs of its customers and ensure Britain succeeds in the global race," the British Home Secretary said.
