OC wants domestic events registered
In a bid to maintain a database on the number of cricket tournaments being played in the sultanate, Oman Cricket (OC) has called upon all organisers of domestic cricket tournaments to notify OC before conducting any event.
Madhu Jesrani, OC secretary, said in the statement, ''All cricketing events held in Oman are to be notified well in advance to OC, which will thereafter give permission for the events to be conducted.
''This requirement is for academic purposes only and will help OC maintain a database of all cricketing activities conducted in Oman.''
Iqbal Ariwala has been appointed to keep a track of all such tournaments.
