Breitling Oil and Gas CEO to Speak in Iraq

(MENAFNEditorial) Breitling Oil and Gas, an independent exploration and production company based in Dallas, Texas, will present at the 4th Basra International Oil and Gas Conference and Exhibition held between December 6 and December 7, 2013 at the Basra International Fairground in Basra, Iraq. The 17-minute presentation entitled "U.S. Energy Renaissance Shifts Power Away from the Middle East" will be delivered by Breitling's chief executive officer Chris Faulkner and will occur on day one to an expected delegation of 18,000 participants. Chris Faulkner, Breitling Oil and Gas CEO, said, "Iraq has the fifth largest proven crude oil reserves in the world and due to U.S. sanctions, it passed Iran as the second largest producer of crude oil in OPEC at the end of 2012." Faulkner added, "This is an important time for Kurdish gas in Iraq and the presumable export road would be Europe via Turkey by using the southern energy corridor and as production costs in the Caspian Sea Basin still remain high compared to costs in the Middle East, this would create the perfect chance for European consumers to multiply suppliers." Mr. Faulkner serves as an advisor to the ECF Asia Shale Committee and sits on the Board of Directors for the North Texas Commission. He has been featured in numerous media outlets, including Reuters, Bloomberg, Financial Times, US News & World Report, FOX Business News and CNBC.
