Iran allocates USD1 b to renew aviation fleet annually


(MENAFN) Director of the Civil Aviation Organization of Iran said that Iran spends more than USD1 billion to renew its aviation fleet every year, according to Tehran Times. Alireza Jahangirian said that the country should annually spend USD1 billion on 30 airplanes with less than 10 years of age in the national fleet. Iran is expected to purchase new airplanes and renew its aviation fleet as international sanctions against the country"s aviation industry have been partly lifted.
