UAE - ADPC to take charge of Zayed Port

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The concession for the management and operations at Zayed Port will be returned to the capital's port authority, the Abu Dhabi Ports Company, or ADPC. This is in line with the original planning for port capacity for the emirate, which was outlined when the ADPC was established. Abu Dhabi Terminals, or ADT, and the ADPC have a long established a close working partnership and have assembled a dedicated specialist team to manage the handover. That team and all employees at Zayed Port will be working to ensure that business continues as normal both during the transition period and from January 1, when the ADPC takes over. All current infrastructure, systems and employees will be transferred to the ADPC to ensure a smooth transition. ADT and the ADPC's priority is to ensure smooth, uninterrupted high levels of service.
