(MENAFN - Arab News) Saudi Transtec 2013, now in its fourth edition, will take place in Dammam from Dec. 9 to 11.
It is set to again provide Saudi Arabia with one of the most comprehensive events in the region for transportation, materials handling, warehousing and logistics, according to organizers.
Mohammed Khalid Al-Suwaiket, representing the Ministry of Transport, will officially open the exhibition and conference at 1 p.m. on Dec. 9.
Regional transportation and logistics leaders will come together in Saudi Arabia to take part in the 4th Saudi Transtec Exhibition and Conference to share industry developments, know-how and discuss future opportunities.
Saudi Transtec 2013, officially supported by the Ministry of Transportation, will provide an international level of service to sector leaders.
The event is co-organized by IES and the Dhahran International Exhibitions Center. The show highlights major investment opportunities for Saudi Arabia's transport and logistics sector.
SAGIA (Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority) has identified numerous investment opportunities within transportation and logistics sector and predicts an investment of 100 billion for Saudi Arabia's transport and logistics sector over the next 10 years.
Saudi Arabia's investment initiative offers large-scale project opportunities for contractors, builders and operators of transport facilities, according to organizers.
They said lucrative opportunities for constructing and operating advanced transportation and logistics infrastructure are available, with more expected.
