Factory orders in US register 0.9 percent decline


(MENAFN) The US Department of Commerce reported that new orders for manufactured goods in the country fell in October, Xinhua reported. Factory orders in the country dropped by 0.9 percent, or USD4.4 billion, to USD487 billion in the month. Durable goods orders declined 1.6 percent to USD231.4 billion, while new orders on nondurable goods fell by 0.2 percent to USD255.6 billion.
