Portugal to repay USD9 billion worth bonds


(MENAFN) Exchanged bonds reached USD9 billion worth in Portugal in order to decrease repayments over the following two years as part of its plan of quitting its international bailout which worth about USD105.9 billion, according to Iran Daily. The country's plan aims to repay USD1.136 billion of bonds due to June 2014, in addition to USD2.227 billion of debt in October 2014. Owed investors will receive about USD3.63 billion of notes by October 2017 and USD5.39 billion in June 2018 bonds.
