Logistics sector in China slows

(MENAFN) The China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing said the logistic sector in China posted a slower growth in November versus the month before it, Xinhua reported. The logistics performance index (LPI) last month dropped to 53 percent, which is down by 0.6 percentage points from October. Readings higher than 50 percent signal expansion, while readings lower than 50 percent signal contraction. The director of the China Logistics Information Center said that demand for logistic services was still strong and growth in the sector is sustained, regardless of the slowdown last month.
