Chinese cities register record revenues due to strong land sale activity


(MENAFN) The four largest cities in China gained record revenues from land sales in the year's first 11 months, Xinhua reported. Sales in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen soared by an astonishing 181.7 percent compared to the prior-year period to hit USD77 billion. The total revenue after adding the revenue of six other cities came at a total of USD129.4 billion, which is up 121.8 percent from the January-November period last year.
