S. Korea's GDP up 1.1 percent in Q3


(MENAFN) The South Korean central bank said the country's revised gross domestic product (GDP) remained at a two-year high in the July-September period, Xinhua reported. The country's GDP in the period went up 1.1 percent from the quarter before it, the bank reported. The GDP expanded by 3.3 percent in the third quarter, versus the same period in the prior year. South Korea's GDP stayed below one percent for eight consecutive quarters, but jumped to 1.1 percent in this year's second quarter.
