(MENAFN) Iran has named seven oil companies to its big oil and gas fields as global sanctions were abolished, according to Gulf Daily News.
The country also promises to offer contract terms in April 2014.
Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh named the seven companies in order: Total of France, Royal Dutch Shell, Italy's ENI, Norway's Statoil, Britain's BP and US companies Exxon Mobil and ConocoPhillips .
Iran owns 18 percent of the global total of natural gas, and ranks forth as the largest proved national reserves of oil.
