Kuwait- 2 held in liquor factory raid


(MENAFN- Arab Times) The Jahra police have arrested two Asians for manufacturing and selling locally-made alcohol, reports Al-Shahed daily. According to a security source a police patrol saw the two men carrying a bag and when the suspects saw the police they threw the bag and continued running. Police chased and arrested both men and seized from them bottles of alcohol. The two men then guided police to their room inside a building under construction which they used to manufacture alcohol. From the room police have allegedly confiscated 263 bottles and 13 barrels containing raw material and alcohol manufacturing equipment. The contraband and the bootleggers have been referred to the concerned authorities.
