(MENAFNEditorial) Emirates Post has urged P.O. Box holders to start renewing their subscriptions for 2014 from December 1 onwards. The last date for renewing the P.O. Boxes is January 31, 2014.
The P.O. Boxes can be renewed at all post offices, postal agencies and through the Emirates Post website (www.epg.gov.ae) with payment through credit card. Those renewing at the post offices are required to produce their valid national ID card at the time of renewal.
Subscribers who renew after the due date of January 31, 2014, will be charged a fine for late renewal. Those renewing the P.O. boxes after February 28, 2014, will be permitted to renew only after paying the fines, provided the mailbox has not been transferred to another subscriber.
"We recommend early renewal in order to avoid last-minute rush as well as to enable subscribers to collect and produce additional documents, if required," said Mr. Fahad Al Hosani, Acting CEO, Emirates Post Group. "We therefore request all customers to start renewing their P.O. Boxes from December 1 onwards."
Emirates Post has introduced many value-added options for individual and corporate customers. There are options to upgrade their P.O. Boxes as well.
Among the different P.O. Box bundles, the 'My Home' service, which allows residents of villas to have a personal mail-box installed on the compound wall, is available in selected locations in Dubai and Abu Dhabi city. This service allows doorstep mail delivery.
Detailed information on the P.O. Box bundles as well as on how to renew subscriptions is available on the Emirates Post website: www.epg.gov.ae.
