(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) UAE and the Netherlands on Tuesday signed an investment protection and encouragement agreement .
The agreement was signed by the Minister of State for Financial Affairs, Obaid Humaid Al Tayer and the Dutch Minister of Economic Affairs, Henk Kamp
The agreement includes a set of provisions to create a suitable atmosphere for the investment projects in the two countries and protect it from various non-commercial and political risks such as nationalization , confiscation and directly and indirectly seizure
The treaty stressed importance that the both parties shall respect their obligations towards the investor and the free convertibility of profits , interest and proceeds from investments via the currency convertible immediately without delay , including revenues and profits of national air carriers
