(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) John Brittas, noted journalist and managing director of a television channel in the south Indian state of Kerala, may be shooting in Oman for his debut film.
Shooting for the film, In The Silver Light, is expected to begin early next year.
Brittas said he is contemplating the offer to play the lead role in the film based on former Oman resident C V Balakrishnan's Malayalam novel, Sulthan Nadu.
''There is a serious proposal to make a movie on a novel and I have been approached to play the lead role. However, I am looking into the matter and am yet to decide. If things go well, shooting will begin next year,'' said Brittas.
Speaking to the media earlier, Balakrishnan had said, ''In the brief period of my stay in Oman, I got to know the country's unique culture and humanitarian aspect.''
