(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) blood donation campaign was organised by Oman Drydock Company in cooperation with the blood Bank unit, Ministry of Health on November 19, concurrently with the sultanate 43 National Day celebrations. The donation took place at the company location at Duqm and at Muscat office.
The campaign witnessed overwhelming response from the Oman dry dock employees with participation from Special Economic Zone Authority of Duqm. The Donation campaign comes as humanitarian action towards providing units of blood for the needs of the sick and emergencies. It has been agreed with the blood bank Unit to organize annual donation campaign which is essential and necessary to help patients that need blood transfusion.
It is worth mentioning that Oman Drydock Company is the first Ship Repair and Maintenance project in the sultanate, which is one of the key strategic projects executed by the Omani Government at Duqm to develop the infrastructure of Al Wusta province. Its location within the facilities of Duqm port in the outskirt of the Arabian Sea gives the project even more strategic importance.
