(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) H E Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Salim al Futaisi, Minister of Transport and Communications and the delegation of Omani businessmen and ministry officials accompanying him, attended a meeting with French businessmen at the French Chamber of Commerce headquarters on Tuesday.
The meeting was held in the presence of the sultanate's ambassador to France and the chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
H E Dr Futaisi briefed French businessmen on investment opportunities available in the sultanate, particularly in the transport and telecommunication sectors.
He pointed out that Oman enjoys a strategic location as it is situated on international marine and commercial routes in the Indian Ocean. He also answered queries and called on the businessmen to discuss potential partnerships and opportunities with companies in Oman.
