(MENAFN Press) With the aim of boosting present and future local business opportunities through bringing together local buyers and suppliers, the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (PEIE), represented by Origin Oman Campaign, will host Meet-the-Buyer event on December 8 at Grand Hyatt Muscat.
Meet-the-Buyer offers Oman-based Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) a unique opportunity to start doing business with major buyers, find out from buyers what they are looking for, and present products and services in face-to-face meetings with buyers.
The event will offer buyers to have b2b meetings with potential suppliers. "This high-level meeting is designed to appeal to a broad cross section of buyers, but there will be a particular emphasis on food and beverage, construction and building materials and automotive parts," said Hamood Al Balushi, Director of PEIE's Omani Products Department.
"The event will comprise a showcase exhibition of buyers, presentations by buyers outlining their company vision and opportunities for suppliers to grow with them, workshops on selling, marketing and negotiating with large companies, face-to-face meetings giving sellers a unique opportunity to sell their services and win new business, besides networking breaks providing the opportunity for suppliers to meet with other suppliers, share experience and develop new business leads," Al Balushi added.
It should be noted that the Omani Campaign aspires to motivate consumers, either individuals or institutions, to purchase locally manufactured products, and thus create business opportunities, support the national economy, generate job opportunities, and preserve the environment.
