(MENAFNEditorial) At the Signing Ceremony, Ooredoo Wishes Success to Myanmar National Football Teams at the 27th SEA Games Yangon, Myanmar and Doha, Qatar Ooredoo today announced it will become the official partner of the Myanmar Football Federation (MFF). The sponsorship includes all teams from the National Men's and Women's teams, including the National Youth teams. Ooredoo will enhance this with a full grassroots programme developing talented young footballers into the stars of the future. This sponsorship is timely, as all the Myanmar National Football teams are ready to participate in the 27th SEA Games. Upon announcing this sponsorship, Ross Cormack, CEO of Ooredoo Myanmar, said: "We are proud to show our support towards Myanmar Football Federation and Ooredoo is committed towards building sports and sportsmanship across the country. Football brings the entire nation together from all walks of life – we believe we have found a great partnership with the MFF. Through our discussions with the MFF we plan on working together to develop communities which will keep us both connected to football fans in Myanmar. We share similar values, so our partnership will work really well for both of us." Ooredoo has also announced recently its sponsorship of Paris Saint-Germain. A major focus of the agreement will be the development of youth and community support, as Ooredoo and Paris Saint-Germain will launch a community coaching programme across Ooredoo's footprint in the Middle East, North Africa, and Southeast Asia, which will include football clinics for young people. The coaching clinics will be designed to create life opportunities for young people and all football teams under Myanmar Football Federation. Ooredoo and Paris Saint-Germain will bring qualified coaches and training programmes to Myanmar with a focus on outreach to underserved communities and supporting youth in these communities. Sponsoring Myanmar Football Federation continues Ooredoo's long-standing tradition of providing support for a wide variety of international, national, and grassroots sporting activities. Ross Cormack added: "We are committed to sponsoring the things that people in Myanmar care about most, both nationally and regionally, that can really make a difference in their everyday lives. Recently, we have proudly announced our official partnership of Myanmar Chinelone Federation and Special Olympics Myanmar. This enables us to reach our audiences quickly and meaningfully and connect with them in a different way, while putting value back into their communities. At a national level, we will continue with our successful existing sponsorships." U Zaw Zaw, the President of Myanmar Football Federation happily said, "We are very honoured to receive such tremendous support from an international organisation like Ooredoo. This support will allow us to be successful in all the MFF development programmes and international games. We hope to continue to work effectively with Ooredoo and wish them every success in launching operations in Myanmar. " END
