Diar plans to resume work on USD600m Yemeni project


(MENAFN) Qatar-based Diar is said to be planning to continue work on its USD600 million real estate project in Yemen, Arabian Business reported. Before work was suspended on the project, developed by Al-Yemania Al Qatariah Real Estate Investment and Development Company, Diar had completed 44 villas. The project manager said: "This is one of the largest real estate projects in Yemen. We are trying to resume work in February 2014 and hope the authorities will help us in achieving this goal." The company was forced to suspend work on the project after a conflict broke out in the country.
