Iran's production of aluminum rises 5 percent in 8 months


(MENAFN) Production of aluminum ingots reached 235,677 tons in Iran in the eight months to the end of November compared to 224,454 tons during the same period last year, according to Iran Daily. The country's production of aluminum increased 5 percent this year compared to the same period in 2012, reported the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO). Iranian Aluminum Company in Markazi province ranked first in production of 118,924 tons, followed by Almahdi Aluminum Company of 70,736 tons.
