(MENAFN) Saudi Railways Organization (SRO) has signed a USD67 million deal with Freight Car America Inc. USA, to supply the SRO with 500 wagons for transportation of cement, cereals, limestone and ballast, according to Arab News.
The contract was signed by Saudi Railways Organization (SRO) President Mohamed Al-Suwaiket, and aims to improve SRO's fleet of freight wagons and cover demand on transporting cement, cereals, limestone and rocks
Al-Suwaiket said that the delivery of wagons will be over 12 months, while will be made by Freight Car America Inc.
