Britain's Cyber Monday registers highest transactions record of USD818 m


(MENAFN) Cyber Monday has registered the highest record of online transactions in one day as consumers' spending reached more than USD818.09 million, according to the Telegraph. British retailers saw a significant flourish in sales on Britain's biggest shopping days as shoppers spent more than USD746.1 million. Simon Black, CEO at Sage Pay, said: "With just four weeks until Christmas, most of us will just have been paid, so Cyber Monday is the day when consumers rush online to do their Christmas shopping."
