(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Capital Market Authority (CMA) and Muscat Securities Market (MSM), will host tomorrow (Monday) the annual meeting of the Taskforce of Middle East and North African Stock Exchanges for Corporate Governance.
The meeting will be opened by Abdullah bin Salim al-Salmi, CMA Executive President in the presence of chiefs and senior officials at bourses of MENA member states, according to Oman News Agency (ONA)
It will be held under the supervision of the Organization for European Cooperation and Development (OECD) and discuss a number of topics related to developing stock exchanges in the region and study the means that improve the level of disclosure, transparency and auditing in a bid to attract investors to the markets, as well as enhancing principles of governance among others.
