(MENAFN) The French President said reducing the unemployment rate in the country needs to take "necessary time", Xinhua reported.
Holland pledged to reduce the unemployment rate in the country by the end of this year in his "jobs of the future" plan.
"It is a battle we have committed," he said, "What matters is the trend that we must now impose and that unemployment must stop rising."
The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development said that the country"s jobless rate stood at 9.8 percent last year, and that this year it will be at 10.6 percent and 10.8 percent for next year.
