South Korea trade surplus hits USD4.8b in Nov.


(MENAFN) The South Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy said that the country's trade surplus in November came at USD4.8 billion, Xinhua reported. Exports in November increased to USD47.92 billion, recording a 0.2 percent increase from the same month last year, while the country's imports dropped 0.6 percent to USD43.11 billion. The trade surplus in the year's first 11 month hit a total of USD40.55 billion. The trade surplus for the entire year is expected to go over the record surplus of USD41.17 billion achieved in 2010.
