(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) The Drilling Managers Coordination Committee at Qatar Petroleum (QP) has held the 20th bi-annual meeting at the InterContinental Hotel Doha with the objective of promoting knowledge sharing and information management among operators within the drilling industry in Qatar.
The meeting, was attended by all leading operators from the oil and gas industry in Qatar
The DMCM focused on the progress of all operators in the current year, their future plans, as well as the lessons learned and the changing trends in the drilling industry in terms of new technology developments
It was important for the participants to share their knowledge among all operators so that they would mutually benefit from the lessons learned in their operations
Safe drilling practices must always be implemented to optimize production output and reduce safety incidents, the participants stressed.
