Tunisian Foreign Minister Meets Arab Monetary Fund Chairman

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Tunisian Foreign Minister Othman Jerandi conferred with Director General Chairman of the Board of the Arab Monetary Fund Dr. Jassim Al Mannai, who is also Chief Executive Chairman of the Board of the Arab Trade Financing Program, who is currently in Tunisia The two sides discussed ties of cooperation between Tunisia and the Arab Monetary Fund as well as the Arab Trade Financing Program, in addition to ways of enhancing them The Tunisian Minister lauded the Arab Monetary Fund's support for Tunisia and its efforts aimed at continuing the economic reforms, specifically in financial and banking sector, adding that Tunisia is keen on enhancing the existing relations of cooperation with the AMF Al Mannai said the AMF is ready to continue its support to Tunisia and its reform program, especially in the financial and banking sectors, expressing his confidence that Tunisia would overcome the challenges of the transitional period.
