Russia, Italy to invest USD1 b in their trade


(MENAFN) Russia and Italy plan to boost mutual investment fund to around USD1 billion and strengthen trade relations between them, according to Iran Daily. Russia"s Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and Italy"s Fondo Strategico Italiano (FSI) will invest USD1.4 billion in projects in the two countries, about USD679 million in each. Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday: "Russia and Italy hope that bilateral trade will reach $50 billion this year."
