Trade deficit in Vietnam hits USD92m


(MENAFN) The trade deficit in Vietnam came at USD96 million in the year"s first 11 months, down USD145.5 million from the first ten months, Xinhua reported. The Vietnam General Statistics Office said that exports in the period increased 16.2 percent year-on-year to USD121.023 billion,, while imports increased 16.5 percent to USD121.119 billion. Foreign direct investment (FDI) made up USD81.16 billion of the total export value, which is up 23.5 percent, while the domestic sector contributed by USD39.86 billion, up 3.6 percent.
