China's Guangdong to launch carbon permits market in December


(MENAFN) China's Guangdong province plans to open the world's second biggest carbon permits market in December, according to Oman Observer. China plans to decrease carbon dioxide emissions per unit of GDP by 45 percent over the following seven years. The operating permits are expected to be received on December 10, while the government will auction 29 million permits in mid-December.
