(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Professor Masudul Alam Choudhury of the Department of Economics and Finance, College of Economics & Political Science, Sultan Qaboos University, was awarded the Global Award in Islamic Humanities by the permanent secretariat of the International Congress on Islamic Humanities, Centre for Cultural and Social Researches in Iran, a press release said.
The award was presented on November 19 at the Esra International Foundation in Qom, Iran, following the second International Conference in Islamic Humanities that was held in Tehran from November 17 to 18, the release said.
The award, given for his work on the ‘Tawhidi' methodological worldview, carried a trophy and gold dinars in official seals.
