EU Approves 180 mln euros in Additional Aid to Jordan


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Ambassador and Head of the EU Delegation in Jordan Joanna Wronecka said Tuesday the EU approved additional 180 million euros in grants to Jordan, the state-run Petra news agency reported. The grants will be extended over two years and seek to support the country's economy, she said Stressing that Jordan is a strategic partner to the EU, she said the EU supports Jordan's moderate and vital role that helps in realizing stability in the region The EU provided Jordan with 330 million euros in assistance between 2011-2013.
