UAE Mubadala inks refinery deal with Guinea government
(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi-based Mubadala and the Guinea government inked a USD5 billion deal to construct a bauxite and alumina refinery in the West African nation, Arabian Business reported.
The country's minister of mines and geology said that the cost of the project, to have a capacity of two million tons, will be wholly covered by Mubadala.
The minister said: "It is important for Guinea because we have a strong partner in Mubadala, well known all over the world and backed by the government of UAE."
